This week's Two Dog Pond Necklace Contest image is a part of a larger postcard - I like this part the best, so I cropped it and cleaned it up. Either that is a large envelope, or a very tiny child.... Anyway - the contest is simple: Make a comment as to what you think would make a great caption for this image. On Friday a winner will be chosen and sent a soldered glass pendant on a 24" chain.
It snowed about 50 miles north of us but we're too far south for anything other than a flake or two. When it actually does snow around here everyone freaks out, which is hilarious considering that the most we've ever gotten is about an inch of it! I must hasten to add that, even though I was born in Chicago, I was one of the people acting like a crazy person in that one inch. Guess I've lived in the Deep South too long. Sad.
I don't have an entry this week, but I have to tell you this looks like me trying to get to the mailbox to with more paperwork for the new cake shop! I chanted the whole way out and back "just don't fall in front of the neighbors... AGAIN!"
I received a necklace for Christmas from Two Dog Pond...I really love it. I looked at you site during one of our snow days, as I did not have to go to school. I saw this weeks picture and thought oh that is so sweet. I woke up in the middle of the night with these going through my head...a-tisket a-tasket in a pretty basket...I wrote a letter to my love and so I will take it. Thanks! Debbie Nugara

This one is very heavy but very special.
Exactly how the term 'Snail Mail' came to be....

I think I'll sneak this one under the door.
I'd rather be making snow angels.
I need a bigger basket.
Who sent this BIG card anyway? I'll have to lug this around on my whole route. Where is a friend when you need one.
This better be good!
I sure hope they appreciate me carrying this BIG envelope around all day.
