Stopped by via Lisa B. Much too early for my brain to kick in with a clever saying though....I'll be back after copious amounts of coffee.

I'm taking a different trek...in the words of Coco Chanel:

“A woman is closest to being naked when she is well dressed”

“In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.”

“Elegance does not consist in putting on a new dress.”

“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

How fun. How about:

Maybe there really aren't other fishes in the sea!

Nap time!

Ta Da! I meant to fall like that!

I can't swim but I sure can wiggle!

This is so fun to play, hope you do more.

Hugs,
Joanne

WOW! This is going to be double-hard to choose a winner...there are lots of great suggestions here! Thanks to all of you - especially to those of you who are playing/visiting for the first time - A Big Giant Welcome to you!

At a recent art festival a woman saw this charm and said "that looks like the picture my grandmother sent to her then boyfriend when he was overseas in the military...she attached a note that said 'just so you remember what you're missing'." Isn't that a hoot?

I've been thinking all week--nothing--I can't come up with anything! but Jennifer's entry "oooh, Mr Lifeguard" has created a silent movie in my mind: our friend here come sashaying along the beach-feins a turned ankle in pure melodramatic fashion. Then the subtitle comes up "Oooh, Mr. Lifeguard" and then we see a debonair lifeguard (dressed in a one piece striped swimming suit) come strutting over...
This has seriously been fun reading everyone's suggestions.
