We started our Adventure at the Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend, IA. It's the eighth wonder of the world, you know. At 100 years old, it still makes you wonder....
We also walked about the Our Lady of The Mississippi Abbey in Dubuque, IA. The sisters there make chocolates and caramels that are just heavenly. Today we spent the day in Galena, IL. An amazing little town full of artists and great shops, and shop we did!!

Sounds like such a good time. I LOVE Galena. I've never heard of the Grotto of the Redemption but it looks like a place I would really want to visit.

As a kid we visited the Grotto for many summers. I love the place...I need to make a plan to get back there again. Thanks for sharing.
