Yesterday at Sunrise. This is a picture of one of the bright rainbow-like spots on each side of the sun. I think it was due to ice crystals in the air because there was also a giant sun pillar.... it might just be magic.
Yesterday's Snow. It was just beautiful! This is as far out the Sweatshop door as I went.... Unfortunately, the mail carrier/UPS trucks/Fed Ex Guys and basically anything on wheels couldn't make it down our roads. The county road crew still hasn't been by here. Late yesterday afternoon Tim went "the long way" to town in his 4-wheel drive hemi pickup and made it to the post office for me. Orders are on their way! I'll be busy down in the Sweatshop again today (and until Christmas) working on orders and pretty much ignoring everything else....except the fact that Baby It's Cold Outside!

Our neighbor a mile north came down with his 'serious big tractor' with a round bale on back for weight and scooped out the drifts and Ed was on the BobKitty most of the morning moving snow. Road grader finally came through last night so we can get out to the main drag!

Friday morning - still haven't come by to clear the roads!! I am going to take the big'ol pickup to Lincoln to the airport just to pick up my sister!!

all i know is our street was cleared..."those town people, sheesh"...and we got half a day off on tuesday and all of wednesday off. and i nearly passed out from being so gleeful. can one pass out from that? i may be the first.
