A Secret Garden Tour

Yesterday, we visited the gardens of my friends Joe and Carol. They live out in the country on a beautiful farm in an incredible old house that's been in the family for generations. Joe and Carol have been making things out of nothing ever since they dated in high school. Incredibly Talented in so many areas with an eye for landscaping and creating, they've been upcycling for decades....
Here are a few photos for you to feel like you went along. Found machinery pieces waiting to turn into art

Water lilies in the stock tank

These are larger than life. Joe made them for his niece's wedding.

The steps leading to the shelter Joe built that overlooks the pond.

My sister, Bonnie, taking a break...

Look at those tractor parts at the top of trellis...

"Sarah, Plain and Tall" fountain Joe built for Carol.

"Fern the Fairie"

These photos don't do the gardens justice, but you get the idea of the talent, love, and work that has gone into making this a truly magical place.
Thank you, Joe and Carol, for letting me share.

Cool! What a sweet job of reinventing the machine parts and landscape. Makes you wanna get busy, doesn't it?

I enjoyed this! You aren't kidding about some talent there. I think the fountain in the last photo is my favorite. Although the tub sitting in it's own vine filled space is AWESOME!

Love it!
Wish that I could instantly transform our yard into a work of art... without the WORK.
