With Memorial Day this month and the 4th of July coming up, I thought it was appropriate to choose a patriotic image. This one is one of my favorites. It's from an old postcard, probably during WWII. Anyway, to enter the contest you just need to make a comment here as to what you think would be a perfect caption/quote/verse/word for this image. On Friday a winner will be chosen and awarded with a soldered glass pendant on a 24" chain.
You know, if you change just 2 letters of Lady Liberty's name, you get Lady Liberal. So she might be the ultimate Tea Party hostess, but she serves Coffee just as sweetly.
Politics aside, though, I'm pretty sure she's thinking: "Do I look fat in this robe?"
