TRULY BLESSED!

Here's some amazingly good news! Garrison's mom was told about an organization that would help to purchase Garrison's hearing aid. They are paying for all but $600 of the cost. As of today, May 28th, we have raised $665 dollars!! Can you believe that? Just a bit more than is needed.
Since we've reached the goal of getting Garrison a hearing aid, the fundraiser has been cancelled and will be rescheduled if the need is there at a later date.
Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to helping this little boy! Your kindness is overwhelming.
We're all Loved and Blessed.

NRD just came out and planted our 375 new bushes! Elderberry, Chokecherry, Plum, and Sand Cherry. In three or four years we'll be making so much wine (or jelly) it will make your head spin. Now - I'm out in the garden trying to get the rest of it planted. The weather hasn't cooperated with my schedule until now, so I have to take advantage. I'll get the winner chosen and posted later..... gator.

Bracelet made from Vintaj decorivet, 3/4" copper tubing, metal flower meant for pressing into cement and my 1/4" stamp set. Ta-da!

The Shop in My Studio

I've moved everything around again, and since I enjoy seeing what other people do - I thought you might enjoy seeing what I did... The Shop is now where my workspace was. There's a futon and a table where the shop was. My workspace (which I can't show because it's too scary) is where the TV and couch and chairs used to be. I have now taken over the basement.

Here's the contest - you make a comment here with a suggestion of what should be on the back side of this pendant. On Friday a winner will be chosen and awarded with a soldered glass pendant with this image on one side and the award winning comment on the other side. There's really no limit to what can be used - quotes, sayings, passages, words, symbols, etc... the skies the limit. Just nothing that will burn our retinas when we read it, please. (noone has ever done that, I just like to say it.)

Can You Hear Me Now?

Sweatshop Worker, Lynn has four small children. Garrison (a total hoot) is four years old and recently diagnosed severely hearing impaired. He talks a whole lot. Listens very little - because he can't hear you! They've been going back and forth to Boys Town in Omaha where there are fabulous pediatric audiologists helping little Garrison. That's great. Here's the bad part. Their insurance carrier told them that they won't pay for much (including a hearing aid) because hearing isn't really necessary. That made Lynn cry. Then Jillybean cried. Then I cried. So - Two Dog Pond is doing a benefit to raise some money to help with the expenses. Click on the picture or on my etsy shop logo and get yourself and your friends a necklace. We've all been Blessed, and we're all Loved. Time to share it. Prayers and Good Wishes are also welcome.
