Yesterday's Thrift Store Find Necklace

Using one of the pulleys I bought yesterday (see the post below) and a little slide which I soldered between some glass, I made an upcycled necklace from my new treasure pile!
If you look closely at the slide, you'll see three Bongos (the animal, not the drum). The slide is from Series 6, Number 5. Here's the description that is on the slide viewer thing...
"The Bongo lives only in the forests and bamboo thickets of Africa. The color of its skin helps to hide it in the forest. White hunters can rarely find the Bongo."
I kid you not.

This necklace turned out fantabulous! Who wouldn't want a bongo around their neck! Love the pully!

Looks great - I have never heard of the animal kind of bongo before - sounds quite odd - d'ya s'pose the other animals make fun of them?!
