My trusty old kiln has been replaced with a digitally programable kiln with a peek hole. I fired it up today and was amazed at how fast it reached 1475 degrees.
It just doesn't have the character of the old one.....yet.There are a bunch of Valentine Pendants being properly annealed in there now. Can't wait to see them!

The next day: Evidently I fired the kiln up way too fast - the glass didn't fuse properly.
I'll fire it up again this afternoon!
